7th - 12th graders are now required to get a whooping cough shot before starting the 2011-2012 school year.

Tehama County Department of Public Health has issued a letter to parents regarding the whooping cough immunization requirements for 7th - 12th graders.

Clinic Dates:

Public Health will be on various school campuses providing a Mobile Vaccine Clinic during school hours.

Dates and schools are as follows:

• March 11th Evergreen
• March 11th Berrendos
• March 25th Maywood
• April 1st Red Bluff Elementary (Vista, Jackson Heights and Bidwell)
• April 29th Gerber
• May 13th Red Bluff High
• May 20th Corning High
• May 27th Los Molinos High & Elementary
• May 27th Lassen View

If you miss the clinic at your school or your school is not having a clinic you can do the following:

1. If you have insurance and are established with a private provider please see your primary care physician.
2. Go to Public Health:
1. Red Bluff 1860 Walnut St. every Wed. 9:00 am to 11:00 am and 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm
2. Corning 275 Solano St. every Tues. 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm.
