Once you are a cleared substitute teacher, each school district will add you to their Frontline/AESOP account (if they use this platform). You will receive an email with a PIN. This PIN is specific to you and will be needed when accepting and declining substitute teaching positions via phone for school districts.
DON'T FORGET YOUR PIN!
You can also login to Frontline on your phone or computer to view, accept, and decline future substitute teacher positions.
The online Frontline platform not only allows you to view, accept, and decline open substitute teaching positions, it also provides you with a Resource Library that contains several helpful videos including Substitute Teaching 101, Substitute Teaching - Advanced Classroom Management, Substitute Teaching - Instructional Strategies, and Substitute Teaching - Working with At-Risk Youth.
Here is how to access these amazing videos:
- Login to your Frontline account
- Under the left-hand side NAVIGATION bar, select Resource Library and click on Browse Library under LIBRARY
- You can narrow the videos by Type, Topic, Grade, etc. or just scroll through to find the ones that interest you
Any questions regarding Frontline/AESOP should be directed to each school district's substitute teacher contact person (link above).
