WHAT IS THE TEHAMA COUNTY CONSORTIUM

Presently 13 school districts in Tehama County, representing 35 schools along with the County School Superintendent, operate a service to assist with the administration of State and Federal categorical funds.

WHAT ARE THE SERVICES?

WHAT ARE THE SERVICES?

  • Consolidated Application and Reporting System (CARS) submission of winter and spring reports.
  • Assist and monitor plans for Districts/School required by the Department of Education (SPSA, ESSA, Safety, etc.)
  • Conduct  Business Meetings at the County Office
  • School Site Council (SSC) training workshops
  • Administrator trainings on Categorical Programs
  • Assist Districts using the California Accounting and Improvement System (CAIS)
  • Representation at Schoolwide Support,  CO-OP Director's meetings, and CDE monthly briefings
  • Oversee the Title III Consortium for LEP Funding
  • "Staying on Track" information publication and quick response to member's questions and concerns
